Charities We Admire

At Studio Raphael, we’re constantly inspired by the people and organisations doing life-changing work in the world. While we may not work directly with all of them, these charities reflect the values we hold close — care, courage, and community.

If you’re looking for somewhere to donate, support, or simply learn more, these are a few causes we deeply admire:

Women's Aid

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. As a federation we provide life-saving services across England while building a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated.

Refuge

Refuge is the largest domestic abuse organisation in the UK. On any given day their services support thousands of women and their children, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives — free from fear.

Refugee Action Kingston

For over 30 years they have welcomed people seeking sanctuary in Kingston and across South West London to find homes, work, and a future here. Because no matter where we come from, we all want the same thing: to become active and recognised participants in society.

War Child

War Child is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict. For more than two decades, they have been driven by a single goal – ensuring a safe future for every child living through war.

The Childhood Trust

The Childhood Trust is London's child poverty charity, dedicated to alleviating the impact of poverty on children and young people living in the capital.

TLC Children's Home

Since 1993, they have been a loving home for over 900 abandoned babies in South Africa, helping them find find forever homes and providing a family environment until those home are found.

FAQ

We welcome applications from charities, grassroots organisations, and small businesses. We prioritise projects supporting refugees, women rebuilding their lives after abuse, and any organisations that support children (and business owners from any of these backgrounds), we are, however, open to helping any cause that aligns with our values.

We offer branding, website design, marketing support, social media strategy, and PR,  depending on what your organisation needs and our current capacity.

No, applications are open year-round. We review them as they come in and respond as quickly as possible.

No fixed limit. We take on as many as we can manage with care and creativity. If we’re at full capacity, we’ll let you know and may offer to revisit your project at a later date.

Once you apply, we’ll review your form and, if your project is a good fit, we’ll get in touch to arrange a friendly chat. From there, we’ll outline what support we can offer and a rough timeline.

This depends on your needs and our availability. Some projects are short and sweet, others grow into long-term collaborations. We’re open to both.

Absolutely. If you know a person, organisation or community project that could benefit from our help, feel free to apply on their behalf, just let us know who you’re nominating.

Even if you’re not a perfect match for pro bono support, we may still be able to offer discounted services or point you towards helpful resources. Reach out, we’re always happy to connect.
